Michael Edward Kidd Jr., 35, Remembered as Oakland Community Prepares for September 26 Memorial Services
Michael Edward Kidd Jr., of Oakland, Maine, died on September 12, 2026, at age 35.
Born on January 9, 1991, Michael leaves a lasting place in the hearts of family members, friends, and everyone mourning this profound loss.
Michael was preceded in death by a parent, Michael Kidd Sr., and grandparents Dinah and David Kidd II.
Surviving relatives include a parent, Sherrie Hastings with Paul; child Dayton Kidd; siblings Casey Kidd with Rob and Emily McHugh with Kevin; grandparents Robert and Gayle Hastings; stepsiblings Patrick and Katelyn McHugh; uncles Mike Hastings with Cindy and David Kidd III; and aunts Susie, Kathy, Karen, and Margie.
Nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many friends also cherish Michael’s memory.
A funeral service will take place at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Living Waters Church, 169 Rice Rips Road, Oakland, Maine 04963.
A celebration of life will follow at 1:00 PM that day at the Elks Lodge.
